At the heart of Lotus 8 is Chef Max Ma & his family.
With over 30 years of experience inspired by the Cantonese home cooking he grew up with and refined through formal Sichuan training, Chef Max has dedicated his craft to sharing the authentic flavors of his culture.
After decades in fine-dining kitchens across China and Belize, where he learned to incorporate global flavors, Chef Max settled in Folsom, CAlifornia with his family, determined to bring genuine Chinese food to his new community.
Lotus 8 is proudly family-run. Mama hand-makes dumplings and egg rolls fresh every day, while Chef Max leads the kitchen, and every member of the family helps make each meal feel like home.
